waiting to cross

i snapped this shot the last time i was in the middle east in 2006. this young brother and sister were walking on this really narrow sidewalk in one of jerusalem's busy side streets in the old city. although a child himself, he was so protective of his sister and was very cautious about making his next move to cross the street.
